Candle type, frame and history
Candle types
A candle can close after a certain time, but also after a certain number of orders, contracts traded or percentage move. Choose the type with the four buttons of the toolbar on the left:

Each button shows the value in use. The button of the active type is highlighted.
- Click a button: switches to that candle type with the value already in use in the window.
- Right-click a button: opens the three presets of that type.
Presets and custom values (right-click)
Right-click one of the four buttons to open the list of its presets: click a preset to apply it on the fly.
Each preset sets both the candle value and the days of history to load, for example 5m / 5d: 5-minute candles with 5 days of history.
The initial presets are:

To set custom values, change the presets:
- Right-click the candle type button.
- Click ⚙ Customize.... The Customize Presets window opens.
- For each preset (Preset 1, Preset 2, Preset 3), set the candle value and History (days), the days of history. The value column is called:
- Frame (min) for time candles, in minutes;
- Orders/candle for order candles;
- Volume/candle for volume candles;
- % per candle for percentage candles.
- Click OK.
The Frame menu
With time candles, the Frame menu changes the interval: from 1 min to 4 hours. The chart is recalculated right away, without reloading the data.
You can save up to three custom intervals:
- Open the Frame menu.
- Choose an empty Custom slot and click Set value....
- In Enter frame in minutes: type the interval in minutes, from 1 to 1440.
- Confirm.
For a slot that is already set you can choose Apply, Edit... or Clear.
The History menu
The History menu chooses how much history to load: from 5 min to 5 days. Changing the history reloads the chart data.
You can also set two custom depths in days, with the Custom slots (Enter history depth in days:).
The more history you load, the longer it takes to open the chart.
Candle style
With the buttons at the bottom of the toolbar you choose the style: Candlestick, OHLC Bars or Line. Other styles, such as Mountain, are in Properties, CHART TYPE section.
Long-term daily chart
In the New Chart window, in Aggregation, you can choose Daily (Analytical): a daily chart over several years, from 1 year to 10 years.
