The crosshair
The crosshair follows the mouse and shows price and time on the axes. The price is rounded to the instrument's tick.
Next to the crosshair you can see three dollar values:
- CUR: the range of the candle under the cursor;
- NOW: the range of the candle being formed;
- CLS: the distance between the cursor price and the last price.
You turn on and adjust the crosshair and these values in Properties, CROSSHAIR section, or with the Crosshair button in the toolbar. See Chart properties.
Each window has its own crosshair: crosshairs of different charts do not move together.
Measure price and time
The Rectangle drawing tool works as a ruler. Draw it between two points: it shows the duration, the number of candles, the price difference and the number of ticks. See Drawings and studies.
Right-click on the chart
Right-clicking the chart opens the order menu at the price you clicked. See The right-click menu.
