Installation

To install TickerExplorer you need the installer downloaded from the portal and administrator rights on the PC.

Start the installation​

  1. Double-click the installer you downloaded.
  2. If Windows asks you to allow changes to your device, choose Yes.

If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, see Common issues.

Accept the terms of use​

The installer shows the TickerExplorer license agreement and terms of use (License Agreement).

  1. Read the terms of use.
  2. Select I accept the agreement.
  3. Click Next.

If you do not accept the terms, the Next button stays disabled and you cannot install TickerExplorer.

Desktop shortcut​

On the Select Additional Tasks page:

  1. Keep the Create a desktop shortcut check box selected if you want a shortcut on the desktop.
  2. Click Next.

Install​

The Ready to Install page summarizes your choices.

  1. Check the summary.
  2. Click Install.

To change something, click Back.

Complete the installation​

  1. Wait until the files have been copied.
  2. Keep the Launch TickerExplorer check box selected.
  3. Click Finish.

TickerExplorer is installed in the C:\Program Files\TickerExplorer folder. After the installation you find it in the Start menu and, if you chose it, on the desktop.
