The Settings window
Click General Settings. The Settings window opens.
The same window also opens from the SETTINGS button in the MASTER panel (tooltip Open Master Settings).
Auto Reconnect
With Automatically reconnect on connection loss selected, if an account's connection drops TickerExplorer tries to reconnect it by itself. The option is on by default.
- TickerExplorer makes 6 attempts, with longer and longer waits: from 10 seconds to 5 minutes.
- If the attempts fail, you have to reconnect the account manually.
- A Follower is reconnected only if it had already connected in the session.
- If the account's session was opened elsewhere, for example in R | Trader Pro on another PC, TickerExplorer does not reconnect it by itself.
If you clear the option, you reconnect the account yourself after a drop.
The change applies right after Save, to the current session as well.
Log Level
Log Level is the level of detail of the session's diagnostic log: Debug, Info, Warning or Error. It changes nothing you see on screen. Leave Info, unless support asks you to change it.
Save
Click Save. Settings saved successfully! appears. To close without saving, click Cancel.
About

- the portal.quantirica.com link to the customer portal, where you find downloads and licenses.
When you write to support, include the version you read here.
