FLATTEN ALL, CANCEL ALL and PANIC
These three buttons are always available, even when entry orders are blocked. None of them asks for confirmation.
| Button | What it does | On which accounts |
|---|---|---|
| FLATTEN ALL | Closes the position at market | The selected account, group or simulation |
| CANCEL ALL | Cancels working orders | The selected account, group or simulation |
| PANIC | Cancels orders and brackets and closes positions | All accounts |
All three act on the instrument shown in the second line of the button. The second line also shows the scope, for example Prop · MESZ6 for a group or all accounts for PANIC: check it before pressing.
FLATTEN ALL and CANCEL ALL
They need an account, a group or SIM selected. With (No account) both buttons are disabled. If you trigger them from the menu or with hotkeys, Flatten All blocked or Cancel All blocked appears: "Select an account or group first. To flatten every account use PANIC."
With a group, CANCEL ALL acts on all the accounts in the group. If you select a single account of a group, only its orders are cancelled: the other accounts keep their entry and protection, and TickerExplorer warns you.
PANIC
PANIC is the emergency button. On all your accounts, for the instrument shown, it cancels orders and brackets and closes every open position at market.
PANIC acts on all accounts, master and follower, without confirmation. Use it only in an emergency.
If something goes wrong
- Phantom position: if TickerExplorer shows a position the broker does not confirm, PANIC does not send the closing order for that position and warns you with PANIC blocked — phantom position. Check the position at your broker, for example in R | Trader Pro.
- Cancellation failed: with Cancel All failed, the orders may still be live at the broker. Check the connection and verify the orders before trading.
- Flatten failed: Flatten failed appears with the reason.
