The trading panel

From the chart you can send orders, manage the position and close it. Everything starts from the CHART TRADING panel, to the right of the chart.

:::danger Real orders Orders sent from the chart are real orders on the selected account. Before trading, always check the account, the override instrument and the quantity. :::

Open and close the panel

Use the ◀ / ▶ arrow on the left edge of the panel to close or reopen it. To always open it with the chart, turn on Show trading panel on open in Properties. See Chart properties.

Choose the account

In the Account menu you find:

  • (No account): no account. You cannot send orders;
  • your accounts, one per row, with the account number and the broker. If an account cannot trade, its status appears next to it, for example INACTIVE;
  • the routing groups, with the 📡 icon and the number of accounts, for example 📡 Prop (3 accounts). An order sent to a group goes to all the accounts in the group. See Routing groups and Account Monitor;
  • 🎮 SIM (Simulation): simulation. Orders are executed locally, without a broker, so you can try the platform without risk.
The Account menu with accounts, groups and simulation.

The second line of the FLATTEN ALL and CANCEL ALL buttons always reminds you what they act on: the account, the group or SIM, followed by the instrument.

The selected account is saved in the workspace and restored when you reopen the chart.

When the buttons are disabled

The order buttons and SCALP are disabled and faded when you cannot open new positions. Hover over a button to read the reason:

  • you have not chosen an account or group;
  • the override is not active;
  • the connection to one of the account's sources is interrupted: Entries suspended — disconnected: …;
  • the license does not allow new orders.

The right-click menu and the hotkeys follow the same blocks. FLATTEN ALL, CANCEL ALL and PANIC stay available instead, so you can always close your positions. See Messages and safety blocks.
